Are your windows old, weathered, and in-efficient? If you have leaky windows, why not let Fettig Millwork and Windows replace them? We install:
Choosing a windows and doors company can seem like a daunting task, and one of the most important questions you should ask yourself is what kind of windows and materials does the company use? At the end of the day, there are three choices for window materials:
1. Wood: Wood windows are aesthetically pleasing and are one of the best products to insulate a home. However, they are also susceptible to moisture and the extreme temperatures of North Dakota seasons which causes them to swell, rot and even warp. They are also vulnerable to insects.
2. Vinyl: Plastic, or vinyl, windows are typically the least expensive choice for window materials and come in a wide rank of color, size and styles. The biggest disadvantage of plastic windows are that they are very vulnerable to the weather and expand and contract widley. This can cause deformation which is irreparable and the window will have to be replaced.
3. Fiberglass: The newest replacement window on the market, fiberglass windows have a huge benefit for North Dakota home and property owners as they are natural insulators and aren't vulnerable to the changing temperatures. They can withstand 350 degree heat and while they give the appearance of wood windows, they are 3.5 times as strong, and 8 times as strong as vinyl windows.
At Fettig Millwork and Windows we believe fiberglass windows are the clear choice. We guarantee our craftsmanship and windows with a lifetime worry free agreement. Still unsure? Give us a call or come in to our shop to see the difference.
